Kristen Wiig GQ Men Of The Year: "The Bro"

Kristen Wiig co-wrote and starred in 2011's ballsiest comedy, Bridesmaids.
Co-star Jon Hamm reveals the secret to their supersexy chemistry.

The opening bit in Bridesmaids with all the crazy sexual acrobatics was done on the very last day of shooting. Bounding around in a flesh-colored thong, trying not to sweat all over Kristen whKristen Wiig co-wrote and starred in 2011's ballsiest comedy, Bridesmaids.
Co-star Jon Hamm reveals the secret to their supersexy chemistry.ile a hundred crew members are literally like, "Can we get this done, please?"—our embarrassment coupled with everyone else's exhaustion lent that scene a particularly awkward sensibility. But it was inspiring to watch Kristen quarterback the team, be the cheerleader and decisionmaker, and then get in front of the camera and be hilarious. And surprising. For a lot of comics, there's a persona they're not comfortable revealing unless they're performing. Kristen is incredibly shy; she has her hoodie pulled up and her sleeves pulled over her hands. But this is a woman who wore coconuts on her tits on SNL; she can go to the craziest, most grotesque places on the planet in character. Kristen came late to performing, and the way she rose through the ranks speaks both to her drive and to her wild talent. The first time I noticed her was watching the SNL sketch "Lady Business." Kristen's line was "I'm a bitch in the boardroom, a bore in the bedroom, and I'm a bear on the toilet," which she delivered with over-the-top seriousness. I thought, "My God, this girl is funny."

Lady Gaga Visionaire 61

Who better to grace the cover of the world’s biggest magazine ever than the world’s biggest pop star ever? Lady Gaga appears as a greased-up mermaid for the 61st issue of Visionaire. The deluxe edition measures 5x7 feet and retails for $1,500 — while the standard 3x5 feet copy costs only $375. So in other words, if you head to the newsstand, bring a flatbed truck.

Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures

Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures

Today it’s been announced that on the 5th December, “Lioness: Hidden Treasures“, the third album from Amy Winehouse, without question one of the most talented, original, and best loved artists to emerge in popular music for decades, will be released through Island Records.
Following her tragic passing in July, some of the producers and musicians who worked closely with Amy Winehouse, among them Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi,  spent time listening over the many recordings that Amy had made, before, during, and after the release of “Frank” and “Back To Black”.  It was said by all who worked with Amy that she never sang or played a song the same way twice. It quickly became apparent to Salaam and Mark that they had a collection of songs that deserved to be heard, a collection of songs that were a fitting testament to Amy the artist and, as importantly, Amy their friend.
The 12 track collection features previously unreleased tracks, alternate versions of existing classics as well as a couple of brand new Amy compositions, and has been compiled by long-time musical partners Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson in close association with Amy’s family, management and record label Island Records. “Lioness : Hidden Treasures” proves a fitting tribute to the artist, the talent and the woman and serves as a reminder of Amy’s extraordinary powers as a songwriter, a singer and an interpreter of classics.
